Club History
The Swimming Club was formed in 1880 and began to play water polo shortly afterwards, our home pool of Victoria baths has been our base for most of the time, it being built in 1896.
Where and When do we Train?
Our Club night is Monday between 2100 and 2200 at the Victoria Leisure Centre, Gedling Street, Nottingham.
We Have a second session on Wednesdays again 2100 to 2200. During the season (March to October) This is when we play our home games.
We also have a session on Friday evenings, 1930 to 2030, this is held at alternate weeks. This aimed at developing our junior and youth players, equipment ranges from mini balls & mini Goals to full size equipment, and participants are the youngsters of the club starting at around 8 year in age.
In addition to this we periodically hold beginners sessions at John Carrol Leisure centre on Sundays at 1815 to 1845, this is directly after a swimming session, again, mini balls & goals
What's Our Recent Success Rate?
In the year (season 2003) we had our best season for some while finishing in second place in the Notts League , winning the Notts ASA KO Cup and in 6th Place in the Midland League
